Jarred W. Guthrie is a global energy and infrastructure executive with more than two decades of leadership experience spanning renewable energy, carbon removal, conventional fuels, power & utilities, and large-scale asset management across five continents. He most recently served as Chief Project Officer of Equatic, where he led global asset development and commercial scale-up of next-generation carbon removal and green hydrogen facilities. Prior to that, he spent 18 years with Shell plc, serving in senior leadership roles including Vice President of Shell New Energies U.S. and Global Head of Hydrogen Projects, overseeing multi-billion-dollar portfolios, international teams, and complex public-private partnerships in highly regulated markets.
A graduate of United States Military Academy at West Point, Jarred served as a U.S. Army officer in both multiple combat and domestic emergency response roles, leading large-scale logistics and operational teams and earning two Bronze Stars, a Combat Action Badge, and a Cross of Merit among other decorations. He is passionate about expanding access to higher education for veterans and service members and helping translate military leadership into long-term professional opportunity.
Jarred lives on the North Shore of Massachusetts with his wife Amanda and their two children, Carrick and Bridget. He is active in his community, serving on his town’s Finance Committee and coaching local sports. As a family, they spend as much time as possible on the water and in the mountains, and they proudly support Army football as season ticket holders for more than 25 years.
