Alexander Read

Originally from Maine, Alex graduated from The University of Chicago in 2013 with a major in Political Science and a minor in Germanic Studies. Following his commissioning, he was assigned to 2d Battalion, 4th Marines where he served as a platoon commander and staff assistant. Alex deployed on the 31st MEU and later worked on long-term amphibious doctrine integration projects with the Australian Defense Forces. Prior to his service, he worked as an undergraduate Admissions Officer at the University of Chicago.
