Valerie Monteverde

Valerie was a nuclear propulsion plant operator in the U.S. Navy while stationed in Yokosuka, Japan, aboard the USS Ronald Reagan. She is currently studying chemical engineering at a community college in her hometown in California. She intends to pursue a PhD and work in the pharmaceutical industry, though she is also open to exploring other fields. While in Japan, she got into snowboarding and highly recommends Hokkaido in February to experience the "Japow".
